The total cost of the basic funeral option from Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd is £1495

Please note:

A funeral can be either a burial or a cremation. The price of Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd's basic funeral option does not include cemetery or crematoria fees, also known as 'disbursements', which vary widely across the country.

If you're having a burial you can expect cemetery and grave preparation fees to be between £500 and £20,000.

If you're having a cremation you can expect crematoria fees to be between £500 and £800. Two doctors' signatures are required for cremations (unless the coroner is involved) and these cost £152.

These costs will be in addition to the basic funeral cost quoted above.

	This funeral includes all costs for Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd's professional services, advice and help (including help to find someone to perform the ceremony if required).	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "Inclusive of professional services of meeti ng with the person responsible for arranging the funeral. Advising on the registration of a death. Liaising with Doctors, Hospitals, Hospice's, Nursing Homes, Coroners and all relevant authorities."
	All costs for appropriate care of the body of the person who had died.	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "Transferring the person who has died within a 15 mile radius of Woking to our premises in normal working hours. We keep the person who has died in the correct facilities. Washing and preparing for the funeral. We do not carry out any embalming."
	The provision of a coffin for the person who has died.	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "A simple wood effect coffin with simple handles, lined in cotton, name plate. At no extra fee a plain cardboard coffin can be used. Ideal for families wishing to decorate the coffin themselves."
	Collection of the body of the person who has died and transport of the body to the place of burial or cremation.	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "Our basic funeral includes use of our adapled Silver Chrysler which can take two family members if required. Adrian or Amanda will be there on the day of the ceremony to ensure all your instructions are carried out as you wished. Staff to carry the coffi"
	The cost of co-ordinating the funeral on the day (not including performing the ceremony).

Direct Cremation Option

The total cost of the direct cremation option from Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd is £1300

Please note:

The cost of this direct cremation includes all fees and costs for the cremation. This includes the crematoria fees (usually between £500 and £800) and two doctors' signatures which are required for cremations (unless the coroner is involved) costing £152.

There is usually no ceremony with this service and it is not possible to choose the crematoria or the time of day.

	All costs for appropriate care of the body of the person who had died until the cremation has taken place.	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "Care of the deceased in our private mortuary facilities."
	The provision of a coffin for the person who has died.	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "A suitable simple coffin will be used complete with name plate."
	Transport of the body of the person who has died to the place of cremation and collection and return of the ashes.	Town and Country Funeral Directors Ltd says: "The coffin is taken to the crematorium in our adapted Chrysler vehicle with all necessary staff."
